Job summary

Sargent Electric Company seeks an on-site Assistant Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and operational excellence at the Greater Point Pleasant, WV site.

You will assist with schedule by coordinating scope execution, tracking costs, and managing documentation, submittals, RFIs, and procurement. The position offers growth within a collaborative, tier-one contractor environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a technical college degree with 1–3 years related discipline preferred.
• 3–5 years in a multi-trade construction environment preferred but not required.
• Excellent written communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Champion Safety Culture and uphold safety standards across field and office environments.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities related to scope execution, schedule adherence, cost tracking, and issue resolution.
• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules and budgets; track variances.
• Maintain project documentation control and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Process submittals and RFI responses to support fabrication and field production.

Education
