Job summary

Sargent Electric Company is seeking an on-site Assistant Project Manager at the Greater Point Pleasant, West Virginia project site. You will support planning, coordination, and execution of electrical, instrumentation, and low voltage systems projects with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities include coordinating scope execution, schedule tracking, cost reporting, and document control, while mentoring junior engineers and liaising with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1-3 years of related discipline preferred; 3-5 years in multi-trade construction environment is a plus.
• Excellent written communication and strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety culture and uphold safety standards on field and office sites.
• Coordinate day-to-day project activities to support scope execution and schedule adherence.
• Monitor budgets, job costs, schedules, and prepare variance communications.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and change documentation with timely delivery.
• Interface with field teams, vendors, and clients to ensure responsiveness and transparency.
• Assist with project meetings, agendas, minutes, and action item tracking.
