Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Assistant Dean for the School of Nursing at our Orlando campus. This on-site, permanent role partners with the Associate Dean to shape educational programs and services in a fast-growing healthcare-focused institution.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master of Science in Nursing (doctorate preferred), have program administration experience, lead faculty recruitment and scheduling, ensure accreditation standards, and advance student success in collaboration with faculty and

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing is required.
• Doctorate in an appropriate discipline is preferred.
• Experience with planning, assessment and evaluation processes is desirable.
• Prior program administration experience at BSN level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and consult with faculty and program coordinators to promote strong commitment and results.
• Maintain high standards of scholarship and service.
• Maintain programmatic accreditation.
• Complete and administer budget allocations.
• Recruit, hire and evaluate faculty.
• Organize student advising procedures.
• Organize faculty teaching loads and quarterly class schedules.
• Develop and maintain collaborations with other colleges and programs for inter-professional educational opportunities.
• Work with the School of Nursing on planning and assessment.
• Represent the program in the community at large.
