Elwood Staffing is seeking an On-Site Assistant in Greenville, SC to support client On-Site programs, foster strong employer-associate relationships, and ensure performance standards are met. The role emphasizes superior customer service and adherence to company policies.

The ideal candidate will have background in customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. On-site collaboration with client management and temporary staff is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong working relationship with the client’s management team.
• Build effective relationships with all stakeholders to anticipate future needs and recruit temporary resources to meet those needs.
• Communicate effectively with client personnel, temporary associates, and company personnel.
• Regularly meet with client supervisory personnel to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
• Assist in identifying and assigning temporary associates who meet client standards.
• Maintain contact with the current pool of temporary associates for future assignments.
• Respond to client and associate concerns; document and resolve issues per SOPs.
• Complete injury reports and assist injured workers with relevant procedures.
• Conduct new hire orientations to cover company policies and safety issues.
• Maintain regular and balanced time with client supervisors and production floor associates.

General Purpose of a On-Site Assistant:

The On-Site Assistant supports the overall success and improvement of the client's On-Site program. The On-Site Assistant will assist, as directed, with guiding the activities of all associates to ensure job performance standards are met or exceeded. They will create a strong bond with all temporary associates, reinforcing the employer-associate relationship and their commitment to the client. All employees consistently support and promote the company mission, five key beliefs, philosophies, and provide Superior Customer Service in all aspects of the job.

Essential Functions of a On-Site Assistant:

If you have held positions similar to Restaurant Server, Administrative Assistant, Call center, Bank Teller or Customer Service Representative then you already have experience with the following:

• Develop a strong working relationship with the client's management team.
• Build effective relationships with all stakeholders to anticipate future needs and recruit temporary resources to meet those needs.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all client personnel, temporary associates, and company personnel.
• Regularly meet with the client's supervisory personnel to confirm the client's satisfaction with the associate performance and address concerns.
• Assist with identifying and assigning temporary associates who meet the client's standards regarding job skills and level of ability.
• Maintain regular contact with the current pool of temporary associates to clarify the availability for future assignments.
• Respond to client and temporary associate concerns promptly; recommend and/or implement steps to resolve problems, prevent their reoccurrence, and document according to standard operating procedures.
• Complete injury reports and assist injured workers in getting medical treatment following company policy and procedures.
• Conduct new hire orientations to ensure all associates are aware of applicable company policies and safety issues before starting.
• Maintain regular and balanced time with client supervisors, management, and on the production floor with associates.

Desired Skills & Experience On-Site Assistant:

• Experience in a customer service role preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to proactively communicate and resolve issues with the highest sense of urgency.
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
