Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking an Assembly Technician for our on-site team in Fremont, CA. The role reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and involves hands-on assembly of products to exact specifications.

We value strong communication, time management, and teamwork across cross-functional groups, with training on safety SOPs and use of inspection equipment. Willingness to travel within Bloom facilities is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalency diploma required.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex and advanced assembly of products according to established specifications and instructions.
• Select proper materials from kit carts to complete standard work.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement ideas and 5S principles.
• Use designated inspection equipment to inspect completed work.
• Use various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality; resolves issues and alerts the chain of command.
• Could be required to travel to other Bloom facilities within the Fremont locations.
• May be required to use pallet jack as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
