Job summary

The Pennsylvania Legislative Data Processing Center is seeking an Application Support Analyst to provide operational and technical support for the Pennsylvania General Assembly. This role includes responsibilities such as quality control and first-level helpdesk support. The analyst will work closely with development teams to enhance software quality and address issues proactively.

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring on-site attendance. The role emphasizes teamwork, technical support, and user documentation creation to ensure smooth operations during legislative sessions.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate updates on requested changes to users.
• Consistently demonstrates a positive attitude with customers and peers.
• Demonstrated experience in a quality assurance or testing environment.

Responsibilities

• Moderate Zoom meetings for session and committee meetings.
• Provide technical support to members and staff in the House Chamber.
• Develop and maintain test plans, scripts, or test cases.

Skills

Self-driven and motivated

Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with online meeting tools (Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet)

Moderate technical skills

Ability to learn the legislative process and corresponding software systems

Excellent written and verbal communication

Experience with Microsoft Office applications

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
