Job summary

Kittle Property Group is seeking an Assistant Manager - Apartments in Seguin, TX to support on-site operations at a multi-family community.

Responsibilities include processing applications, showing apartments, handling lease renewals, assisting with rent collection and coordination with the maintenance team, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Strong communication, basic math, and MS Office skills are required; one year of experience and a GED are preferred.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes, speaks and interprets basic instructions, simple correspondence and presents information one-on-one or in small groups.
• Adds, subtracts, multiplies, divides using whole numbers, fractions and decimals; can compare rates, ratios and percentages and interpret basic graphs.
• Carries out detailed, but uninvolved instructions with common sense; handles problems with few variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Process new applications, re-certifications and provide information to compliance department.
• Show apartments to prospective residents.
• Handle lease negotiations and renewals.
• Assist property manager in overseeing leasing and maintenance staff.
• Assist with marketing and leasing activities as requested.
• Maintain compliance policies and procedures.
• Assist manager with rent collection, rent ledger, bank deposits and petty cash records, delinquent rents, evictions, maintaining curb appeal, etc.
• Assist manager in providing account information to the regional supervisor and credit agency.
• Assist manager with resident relations and enforce all community rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
