Job summary

Reeder Management, Inc. is seeking an On-Site Apartment Manager in Des Moines, WA to oversee daily property operations, tenant relations, and compliance with policies.

This full-time role includes scheduling, leasing, rent collection, and coordinating maintenance across multiple properties. You’ll benefit from competitive hourly pay, medical and dental coverage after 60 days, 120 hours of PTO in the first year, holidays, and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, SOPs and instructions; write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups of customers.
• Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages; apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Responsibilities

• Shows prospective tenants apartments and explains occupancy terms.
• Rents or leases apartments, collects security deposits, and completes lease forms.
• Collects rents due and issues receipts; performs banking including deposits.
• Investigates tenant complaints about malfunctions and coordinates maintenance.
• Directs maintenance staff or coordinates outside personnel for repairs.
• Resolves tenant complaints and coordinates services such as trash collection or carpet cleaning.
• Cleans public areas and maintains property as specified in agreements.
