Our locally renowned Property Management company is searching for a Full Time experienced On-Site Apartment Manager to join our team. You'll have the chance to work with talented colleagues who share your passion for excellence in our supportive and collaborative team.
The On-Site Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of properties, ensuring efficient maintenance, tenant relations, and adherence to company policies to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards. This role will also act as a liaison between property owners, tenants, and other stakeholders, representing the company's interests and fostering positive relationships.
This position may manage employees on-site. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
High School Diploma or equivalent skill level.
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and the ability to meet the Company’s vehicle insurance requirement required to perform essential job duties (such as bank runs and travel between buildings/properties).
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, SOP's and instructions; write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups of customers.
Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages; apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Identifies problems, gathers information, and offers solutions.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn how to use the property management software.
The work is typically performed in an office environment and in outdoor weather conditions, with a moderate noise level. Occasional travel to the bank or corporate office is required. To perform the job, the employee is frequently required to talk and hear on the telephone and in person with individuals and groups. The incumbent will carry materials weighing up to 25 lbs. The incumbent is required to read and respond to documents in hard copy and electronic form. The employee must be able to climb stairs and lift arms above head to post notices. The employee must regularly sit, stand, and walk on uneven terrain. Employee may be required to visit multiple properties within a day per job requirements.
