Living Well Homes in Greensboro is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to keep our property in top operating condition. The role includes handling work orders, repairs, and upkeep, with emphasis on plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC as needed.

You should have 2+ years of residential property maintenance experience, plumbing knowledge, electrical wiring abilities, carpentry skills, and stamina for a full shift.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential property maintenance experience.
• Plumbing knowledge to address leaks and clogs.
• Electrical wiring capabilities for building electrical issues.
• Carpentry skills for basic repairs around the building.
• Grounds maintenance for outdoor areas as needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills with residents and staff.
• Attention to detail to ensure safe, quality work.
• Physical stamina for a full shift of active work.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance around the building and repair structural damage (windows, doors, walls).
• Repair plumbing to prevent water damage and restore fixtures.
• Repair damaged electrical wiring and address shortages or faults.
• Maintain HVAC equipment to ensure climate control.
• Apply preventative measures to reduce future problems (e.g., sealant on flat roofs).
• Address safety hazards to prevent injuries.
• Paint the building when paint is faded or chipped.
