Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in Madison, AL. The role supports a positive resident experience through comprehensive upkeep of the apartment community.

Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC tasks, with EPA certification required within 120 days. Competitive benefits and opportunities for advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• EPA certification is required (must obtain within 120 days of start)
• HVAC experience is preferred
• EPA Univ / EPA II/III listed certifications may be preferred
• CPO certification and pool maintenance skills are preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall apartment community and day-to-day operations
• Evaluate, prioritize, and resolve work orders per quality standards
• Perform plumbing tasks: pipe fittings, shutoffs, sink replacement, faucet install, garbage disposal
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, furnace, water heater, boiler issues
• Repair appliances as needed
• Deliver carpentry work: doors, trim, drywall, caulking, tile and tub surround
• Handle electrical repairs: switches, outlets, light fixtures
• Monitor inventory of commonly used parts
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
