Job summary

Morrow Realty Company is seeking a full-time General Apartment Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance and repair of interior and exterior areas, including plumbing, electrical systems, and grounds work.

Responsibilities include HVAC maintenance, carpentry, repairing windows, tiles, floors, walls and doors, painting, and making ready vacant units for occupancy. On-call weekends may be required; onsite rent-free living with a utility allowance and health/dental insurance are provided.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and general knowledge of plumbing, electricity, and grounds work.
• Previous apartment maintenance experience but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior property areas, systems and fixtures.
• Handle heating and AC maintenance and general carpentry, electrical, plumbing tasks.
• Repair windows, tiles, floors, walls and doors as needed.
• Paint apartments as scheduled by the Site Manager or Maintenance Coordinator.
• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy in a timely manner.
• Assist with preventive maintenance program and organize the maintenance shop/equipment.
• Remain on-call for emergency weekend service calls when necessary.
