Job summary

AIR Communities is seeking an on-site Service Manager for Creekside Vista in Decatur, GA. Lead a maintenance team, ensure high resident satisfaction, and manage all aspects of property upkeep including vendor relations and capital needs.

The role requires 3+ years in technical maintenance in property management, 1-3 years leading teams, and a flexible schedule. On-site apartment living option available; competitive pay with bonuses.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience with technical maintenance and facilities management in the property management industry.
• 1-3 years of experience leading a team of people in customer service and asset maintenance.
• A reliable mode of transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month).
• Comfort with physical activity as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 1+ direct reports.
• Provide exemplary service to residents and team members.
• Manage all aspects of property maintenance including vendor relationships, service staff, preventative maintenance, apartment turns, and resident service requests.
• Communicate property maintenance and capital needs to management and ensure maintenance and capital needs are addressed.
• Ensure property follows AIR operating procedures and regulations, including Environmental Health & Safety.
• Manage budget efficiently to maximize return on investment while maintaining quality and customer service.
