Job summary

Buckle is seeking a part-time Seamstress/Tailor in Cedar Hill, TX. The role focuses on performing alterations of merchandise in-store, hemming jeans and pants, and delivering high-quality customer service.

The position requires flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends. Training is provided, and the teammate will use Buckle’s sewing equipment to complete alterations while meeting productivity standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or 1–3 months related sewing, fitting, alteration experience.
• Ability to perform quality alterations on merchandise at store location.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and seasonally based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality alterations on merchandise at store location.
• Follow ticket instructions and markings based on Guest specifications.
• Accommodate Guests with on-the-spot alterations when requested by Store Leaders.
• Meet deadlines and Guest expectations for merchandise alterations.
• Use Buckle-provided sewing machine and supplies for alterations.
• Measure, mark, sew, press, and finish alterations as required.
• Record all work and follow the alteration log.
