Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is hiring an Aircraft Composite Technician in Cedar Hill, TX. The role involves wet layup repairs, curing in autoclaves, and precision bonding. You will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and operate curing ovens, autoclaves, and vacuum systems.

You should have 0-5 years (Journeyman) or 5+ years (Master) in composites, with no mandatory A&P license but preferred, and a valid driver's license or passport. Benefits begin at start date.

Qualifications

• Journeyman: 0-5 years as composite technician.
• Master: 5+ years as composite technician.
• Airframe and Powerplant license not required but welcome.
• Reliable transportation to work daily.

Responsibilities

• Repair parts/components using wet layup and preprep processes.
• Use clean room and controlled ovens/autoclaves for curing.
• Perform bonding methods (co-curing, co-bonding, secondary bonding).
• Operate shop equipment including curing ovens, autoclave, vacuum.
• Maintain neat and safe work area and communicate clearly.
