Job summary

Iowa Select Farms seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist – Feed to verify, process, and file invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper authorizations before payments. This full-time, on-site role supports the Finance team and maintains vendor relationships.

You will reconcile accounts, distribute cost reports, and assist in the annual external audit. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and MAS 100 ERP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluent in written and verbal communication.
• 2–4 years of general ledger accounting experience.
• Ability to communicate with other departments within the organization.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Excel and Word.
• Experience with MAS 100 ERP system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Validate, process, and file vendor invoices.
• Ensure invoices are accurate and approved prior to payment.
• Match pricing and quantities to purchase orders; follow up on variances.
• Maintain detailed account reconciliations.
• Distribute weekly and monthly cost reports.
• Assist in the annual external audit.
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, deliveries, and statements.
