Job summary

CF Legal Recruiting and Staffing is assisting a New York City law firm in hiring an Accounts Payable & Billing Specialist to join the finance team on-site in Manhattan.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable or billing, a Bachelor's degree, and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe is required; Chrome River experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Prior accounts payable, billing, or law firm accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, vendor payments, employee reimbursements, check runs, and wire transfers.
• Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and resolve vendor discrepancies.
• Prepare, edit, and distribute client invoices and pre-bills.
• Maintain financial records, prepare expense reports, and assist with audits and 1099 reporting.
• Support daily accounting and billing operations.
