Job summary

Digital Path, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Technician I to work within the accounting team, handling accounts payable, ledgers, and financial reporting with integrity and independence. The role reports to the Accounting Manager and emphasizes cross-departmental collaboration and ethical practices.

On-site in Chico, CA, with 8-hour days Monday–Friday and potential overtime. Includes strict pre-employment screenings and background checks due to confidential financial data.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in accounting and 1–2 years bookkeeping/accounting experience (3–5 years in lieu of degree).
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills with Office 365 and Excel/Word/Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile accounts payable (A/P).
• Manage employee credit cards through expense software; process new card requests.
• Month-end duties including processing and reconciling credit cards and A/P.
• Cross-train and provide backup support for accounts receivable and administrative duties.
• Track and maintain vendor W-9s and submit 1099 forms.
• Update ledgers and financial reporting; periodically audit records.
