Job summary

Digital Path, Inc. seeks an Accounting Technician II to join the accounting team in Chico, CA. This on-site, full-time role reports to the Accounting Manager and handles general ledger tasks, journal entries, close procedures, and financial data analysis.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and at least three years of progressive accounting experience. Proficiency in Excel/Office 365 and accounting software, plus strong integrity and communication skills are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or business administration, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Three years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel and Office 365 proficiency.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage daily accounting functions to provide accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Responsible for general ledgers, journal entries, and monthly/yearly closings.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and adherence to company policies.
• Provide payroll backup and support A/P processes as needed.
• Coordinate project management within accounting and data reviews.
• Prepare and present financial analyses to management.
