Overview

Now Hiring: Full-Time Accounting Professional

Chico, CA | Temp-to-Hire | Up to $35/hr. DOE + Benefits

We are currently accepting applications for a detail-oriented, motivated Accounting Professional to join a growing, manufacturing-based organization. This role is ideal for a self-starter who takes ownership of their work, values accuracy, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Reporting directly to the Controller, this position offers hands-on exposure to all major accounting functions, including inventory accounting within a manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities

Accounts Payable
- Post vendor invoices and credit card transactions
- Prepare weekly unpaid bills reports and process check runs
- Maintain vendor files and prepare annual 1099s
Accounts Receivable
- Enter retail store sales and prepare customer invoices
- Process deposits and manage collections
- Prepare and distribute monthly statements
Reporting
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports
- Sales tax preparation and industry-specific reporting
General Office Support
- Backup phone coverage
- Monitor and order office supplies
- Handle postage and miscellaneous administrative tasks
