Job summary

Beal Bank USA is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accountant to support daily accounting operations, month-end close, regulatory reporting, and ad hoc accounting requests. This is a fully on-site position with no remote option.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel skills. You will prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and regulatory reports while maintaining organized records and complying with internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and fundamental accounting processes.
• Experience preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and adapt priorities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, complete, and properly supported journal entries.
• Prepare account reconciliations, research discrepancies, and resolve items promptly.
• Monitor deposit clearing accounts daily and investigate unusual items.
• Process incoming wires, perform OFAC checks, and notify departments as needed.
• Prepare daily FR 2420 Federal Reserve reporting and timely compliance.
• Prepare weekly FR 2900 Federal Reserve reporting on schedule.
• Prepare monthly, semi-annual, and annual Nevada Thrift reports.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly accounting activities accurately.
• Respond to ad hoc accounting requests including journal entries, reconciliations, reporting.
• Maintain complete, accurate accounting records and supporting docs.
• Review work for errors and compliance with policies and controls.
