Job summary

Beal Bank USA is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accountant to support daily accounting operations, month-end close, regulatory reporting, and ad hoc requests. This is an on-site position with no remote/hybrid option.

Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting duties across Fed and state requirements. Compliance with internal controls and on-time submission are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and core accounting processes.
• Experience with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis ability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, complete, and properly supported journal entries.
• Prepare account reconciliations and research discrepancies.
• Monitor deposit clearing accounts daily and resolve issues.
• Process wires, prepare journals, perform OFAC checks, and coordinate with departments.
• Prepare daily check-funding entries for branch checks.
• Prepare accrual entries for month-end close.
• Prepare FR 2420 and FR 2900 Fed reporting on deadlines.
• Prepare Nevada Thrift reports monthly, semi-annually, annually.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly accounting tasks on schedule.
• Respond to ad hoc accounting requests and provide financial analysis.
• Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.
• Review work for errors and adhere to policies and approvals.
