Job summary

Helping Hand School in Illinois seeks a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students aged 3-22 with autism and related needs. You will provide one-on-one and small-group support, implement ABA strategies, and collaborate with BCBAs, teachers, families, and the educational team to foster a safe, engaging learning environment.

The role is on-site, 37.5 hours per week, with an hourly wage of $23.75–$24.50 plus up to 6% annual bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active Registered Behavior Technician certification (BACB).
• Experience supporting children or young adults ages 3-22.
• Experience with autism, intellectual disabilities, or developmental delays.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small-group support in classroom and school settings.
• Implement ABA strategies from IEPs and behavior plans.
• Observe behavior, collect data, and report progress to the team and caregivers.
• Assist BCBAs with assessments, behavior plans, and data reviews.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
