Job summary

Strategic Connections is seeking a Level 2 – Low Voltage Audio/Video Technician II to perform on-site installations and contribute to commissioning and troubleshooting. You will install structured cabling, mount AV gear, read blueprints, test cables, and coordinate with customers and other trades.

The role requires 2–4 years of AV installation experience, networking fundamentals, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. This position is on-site in Raleigh, NC.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of low-voltage or AV installation experience.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Experience with cable testing equipment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate structured cabling systems.
• Mount and connect AV equipment, displays, projectors, speakers and control devices.
• Read blueprints, floor plans and wiring diagrams.
• Conduct cable certification and testing.
• Troubleshoot basic system issues.
• Coordinate with customers and other trades on-site.
• Maintain project documentation and as-built drawings.
