Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Mission Operations Development Lead Engineer for our Gilbert, AZ campus to join a growing team that supports multiple satellite programs across the full mission lifecycle. This full-time role leads development and execution of on-orbit operations, including LEOPS, NOMOPS, and end-of-life planning.

You will develop on-orbit procedures, automation scripts, and training materials, while guiding rehearsal activities for key events and coordinating with systems engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application with willingness to take a polygraph.
• Experience with on-orbit mission operations or resolving satellite/ground system anomalies.

Responsibilities

• Provide mission operations support to satellite programs across LEOPS, NOMOPS, payload operations and End-of-Life phases.
• Lead on-orbit procedure and script development and automation.
• Develop and maintain operator handbooks, handbooks, and procedures for on-orbit operations.
