Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking an On-Orbit Execution & Planning Engineer (Level 3 or 4) for 100% onsite work.

You will collaborate with government customers and operators to demonstrate and develop mission execution plans, focusing on dynamic satellite operations and risk reduction activities. The role requires RPO knowledge, satellite operations experience, and the ability to support end-to-end planning with a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret/SCCI clearance at time of application.
• Understanding of rendezvous and proximity operations (RPO) and satellite trajectory design.
• Experience operating satellite systems in a dynamic environment.
• Collaborating with government customers and operators on mission planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical solutions to enable the Mission Execution Planning Team’s end state against dynamic priorities.
• Contribute to design, planning, and execution of risk-reduction activities with customers/end users.
• Support design/planning/execution within the end user community.
• Model and simulate risk reduction activities and generate reports.
• Serve as SME in space vehicle hardware configuration and trajectory flight safety.
• Assist in system-of-system trades and analyses for mission architectures.
