Job summary

Cabinetworks Group in Culver City, CA, is seeking motivated team members to hang cabinetry components on finish lines, following move tickets and production standards.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to read a tape measure and move tickets, plus strong teamwork and safe work habits. Training and cross-training provided; E-Verify employer.

This is a full-time on-site position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Maintain production and quality standards.
• Hang components on finish lines ensuring good line density no further than 18” apart
• Scan move tickets
• Place cart in building area
• Follow all safety rules, JSA and work instructions.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner.
• Active member of the natural work team
• Follow all environmental policies
• Cross-train in related processes before and after current position in the flow
• Fix unsafe conditions if possible and report condition to supervisor.

1. PRIMARY PURPOSE

Hang all cabinetry components or accessory items on finish lines with proper move tickets

2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Use specific active verbs that describe what the incumbent does (e.g., “composes,” or “types” letters, rather than “prepares”), and indicate why the function is performed (e.g., composes letters to respond to customer inquiries). In addition, please identify the approximate % of time spent annually in performing each function.

• Maintain production and quality standards.
• Hang components on finish lines ensuring good line density no further than 18” apart
• Follow color sequence
• Scan move tickets
• Place cart in building area
• Follow all safety rules, JSA and work instructions.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner.
• Active member of the natural work team
• Follow all environmental policies
• At minimum must be cross trained in job prior to and after current position in process flow.
• Fix unsafe conditions if possible and report condition to supervisor.

3. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Describe each marginal function (not essential to achieving the primary purpose) in the same manner as requested in Section 2 above.

• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
• May rotate to other departments and duties as needed.

4. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

A. Describe the minimum skills, knowledge, education, certifications, etc., and related job experience (yrs./months ) that incumbent typically must have to perform the essential functions of the job acceptably.

• Ability to read a tape measure.
