Job summary

Cabinetworks Group is seeking a General Laborer to support cabinet manufacturing, including material handling, sanding, finishing and shipping. The role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and safe operation in a fast-paced production setting.

Essential duties include handling materials, using basic woodworking tools, performing sanding and packaging, and ensuring quality before shipment. Prior manufacturing or carpentry exposure is preferred; training is provided for machinery.

• Lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds regularly, with assistance for heavier weights.

• Perform sanding, finishing, packaging, and inspection tasks to prepare cabinets for shipment.
• Report any issues with materials, tools, or production processes to the supervisor.
• Support team members in various tasks to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and 6S environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and required PPE guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Prior experience in manufacturing or carpentry, especially within cabinet or wood product fabrication.
• Familiarity with woodworking machinery such as table saws, routers, or CNC machines.
• Experience in a lean manufacturing or 6S environment.
