Job summary

Jay Peak is seeking an HR Coordinator to serve as the lead contact for visitors, answer and direct calls, and perform a range of clerical HR duties. You will support onboarding, coordinate employee events with the HR Engagement Specialist, and assist with recruitment processes and I-9 compliance, while keeping HR records organized.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced resort environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent and up to three months related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Answers phone and directs calls accordingly.
• Digitally files HR documents and maintains records.
• Assists applicants with online applications and onboarding processes.
• Updates hiring software statuses as hires move through onboarding.
• Coordinates employee events with the HR Engagement Specialist.
• Supports HRIS Specialist during peak times.
• Maintains I-9 documentation and related compliance.
• Keeps the office stocked with supplies and performs other duties as assigned.
