Job summary

Judge Direct Placement seeks an EHS Specialist to drive a strong safety culture in a manufacturing facility. This hands-on role partners with employees, supervisors and leadership to keep the workplace safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma or GED (AS/BS preferred) and 3+ years of manufacturing experience. Strong communication and MS Office skills are required, with flexibility for overtime on projects and training.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; AS/BS preferred.
• 3+ years of manufacturing/industrial experience if no degree.
• Degree related to EHS is preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Flexible for paid overtime on projects/training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong presence on the production floor.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Ensure PPE, LOTO, contractor safety, and environmental compliance.
• Investigate incidents and support corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training and employee engagement initiatives.
• Support waste management, emergency response, and continuous improvement.
