Job summary

Spreetail seeks a Safety Manager to lead proactive safety culture across our fulfillment center. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, including floor-level presence, walk-throughs, incident investigations, and training delivery to keep associates safe and audits ready.

You will own key safety metrics, ensure timely corrective actions, and manage OSHA records, training, audits, and response plans across all shifts in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience conducting Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
• Experience with safety audits and incident investigations.
• Ability to perform root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Proven ability to own and execute integrated safety programs independently.
• Comfortable working on the warehouse floor and in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting multi-shift operations, including night or weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Own key safety metrics (ORIR & LTI) and drive corrective actions.
• Document and investigate every OSHA recordable incident; ensure timely closure of actions.
• Ensure new hire and PIT safety training attainment above 95% across associates.
• Conduct monthly safety audits and close open items.
• Maintain current emergency plans, evacuation procedures, and first aid resources.
• Actively manage workers’ compensation claims and implement modified duty programs.
