Job summary

Spreetail is seeking a Safety Manager to lead proactive safety culture across our fulfillment centers. This role involves on-the-floor leadership, incident investigations, training, and ensuring compliance is lived, not just documented.

You will own safety metrics like ORIR and LTI, conduct audits, manage workers’ compensation programs, and coordinate emergency plans across shifts with a focus on preventing injuries and maintaining audit-ready programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in safety or EHS in production/fulfillment environments.
• Hands-on experience with JHAs, audits, incidents and root cause analyses.
• Ability to operate independently without Safety Supervisor support.

Responsibilities

• Own ORIR & LTI rates and drive data-driven root-cause actions.
• Document and investigate every OSHA recordable incident thoroughly.
• Ensure new hire safety training is completed before first shift.
• Conduct monthly safety audits and track open items to closure.
• Maintain emergency response plans, evacuation procedures and first aid resources.
• Actively manage workers’ compensation claims and modified duties.
