Job summary

Southern States Cooperative is seeking an experienced agronomic sales professional to manage on-site consultations and build strong relationships with farmers across West Virginia, Northern Virginia, and neighboring Maryland counties. You will advise on seed, fertilizer, crop protectants, and feed products while coordinating delivery and terms with internal teams.

The role requires a deep knowledge of farming practices, at least 5 years in agronomic sales, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of agronomic on-site sales experience.
• Knowledge of seed, fertilizer, crop protectants, and/or feed products and farming best practices.
• Valid Driver's License; CDL and/or pesticide licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site sales consultations with current and prospective customers.
• Communicate operations needs and provide agronomic solutions to customers.
• Develop account strategies and manage sales pipeline to grow business.
• Coordinate product delivery and pricing terms with customers and internal teams.
• Maintain customer records and report weekly sales activity.
