Job summary

Southern States Cooperative is seeking an experienced On-site Agricultural Sales Representative to manage a defined territory, conduct on-farm consultations, and recommend seed, fertilizer, crop protectants, and feed products.

You will grow the sales pipeline, negotiate terms, and collaborate with agronomists and product specialists. Requires 5+ years agronomic sales, bachelor's degree, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years agronomic on-site sales experience.
• Knowledge of seed, fertilizer, crop protectants, and/or feed products.
• Bachelor's degree; related sales/agriculture experience considered.
• Valid Driver's License; CDL or pesticide licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site sales consultations for current and prospective customers.
• Develop account strategies and manage a robust sales pipeline.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with customers.
• Coordinate with agronomists, product specialists, and management staff.
