Job summary

Pep Boys is seeking a Customer Service Lead to deliver exceptional customer experiences and act as a trusted on-site leader in the service center. The CSL will mentor staff, supervise daily operations, and ensure safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction on assigned shifts.

Responsibilities include serving as the primary on-duty contact when management is absent, opening/closing the store, and coaching Advisors to drive service quality and sales performance.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of service-industry experience.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Strong knowledge of automotive service and parts.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced Customer Service Advisor duties and model best practices.
• Lead on duty as key holder, opening/closing per schedule.
• Mentor, train, and onboard advisors to improve performance.
• Partner with technicians and management to ensure efficient service operations.
• Support interviewing and candidate evaluation for staffing.
• Uphold safety, compliance, and company policy standards.
• Drive sales and customer retention through quality service.
