Job summary

Pep Boys is seeking a Customer Service Lead to deliver exceptional customer experiences and act as on-site leader when management is unavailable. The role combines advanced customer service with operational accountability and mentorship of team members.

The CSL will open/close the service center, lead during assigned hours, coach peers, and support interviewing and selecting talent, while partnering with technicians to ensure safe, efficient service and strong customer retention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of service industry experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive service, maintenance and parts.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Customer Service Advisor duties at an advanced level.
• Act as key holder for opening/closing the store and operational procedures.
• Mentor, train, and onboard Customer Service Advisors.
• Assist with interviewing and evaluating candidates.
• Partner with technicians to ensure efficient service operations.
• Promote safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
