On-Demand: Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T1835)

Join Target as an On-Demand Guest Advocate (Cashier), supporting our stores with flexible hours and shifts. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, assisting with checkout, and supporting store operations. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour.

Role Overview

As an On-Demand Team Member, you can create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime app, based on store needs. Regular engagement and active participation are required, including responding to contact attempts and working at least one shift every 4-6 months to maintain employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent guest service, greeting and assisting guests authentically.
• Operate registers accurately and efficiently, handle transactions, and support cash office operations.
• Assist with product knowledge, promotional events, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety policies.
• Support store operations such as order pickup, drive-up, and returns.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and guest interaction skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and remain composed.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 44 pounds and stand for extended periods.
