About On Demand

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with flexible scheduling based on store needs and shift availability. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will create your schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime app, responding actively to contact attempts, and maintaining regular attendance (at least once every 4 weeks, or 5 months after December 2024). You will attend a Target Welcome orientation and undergo short-term training. Your role involves providing exceptional guest service, supporting various store functions, and working in a safe, ethical manner.

Role Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture prioritizing guest experience
• Greet guests authentically and observe to assist or engage
• Be knowledgeable about store products, services, and digital tools
• Efficiently scan, bag, and process transactions while maintaining safety standards
• Promote Target’s loyalty programs and fulfillment services
• Handle returns, de-escalate issues, and support order pick-up and drive-up services
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support safety policies
• Support cash operations and other duties based on business needs

Qualifications and Skills

• Enjoy working in a lively, team-oriented environment

• Ability to operate technology devices and work independently or with a team

Additional Requirements

• Accurately handle cash and support cash office operations
• Lift merchandise up to 44 pounds and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Remain mobile for shifts of varying lengths and work in different environmental conditions
