You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with schedules varying based on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.
As an On-Demand TM, you will create your own schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime app. Active engagement in picking up and working shifts, as well as responding to contact attempts, is required. Failure to respond may result in employment termination.
Regular attendance is necessary; you are expected to work at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours), with flexibility for personal circumstances. You must work at least one shift within 6 months (or 5 months starting December 2024) to avoid termination.
Participation in orientation and training is required, after which shifts can be picked up through the myTime app.
As a Guest Advocate, you will focus on guest interaction, exceeding expectations, and promoting store services and digital offerings to foster guest loyalty. Skills developed include communication, problem-solving, adapting to various situations, and promoting store benefits.
Typical responsibilities include greeting guests, understanding their needs, assisting with products and services, and ensuring a welcoming environment. You will also handle transactions, maintain a clean work area, and support various guest services.
Ideal candidates enjoy working in a lively environment, providing excellent service, engaging with guests, and collaborating with team members. They should be motivated by making guests say "I LOVE TARGET!" and be comfortable working weekends and holidays.
Basic skills include effective communication, focus, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to operate technology devices. Reliability and promptness are essential.
Handling cash operations accurately, lifting merchandise safely, and maintaining a flexible schedule are required. Active engagement with shifts every 4-6 months is necessary, with the ability to work in varying environments and temperatures.
