Job summary

Seek Now is seeking capable 1099 independent field inspectors to provide accurate, impartial property inspections for home and commercial properties. You will be the frontline data collector for clients in insurance, facility management, and real estate sectors.

Expect to inspect steep roofs, climb ladders, sketch and measure components, and travel to assignments across regions. Lodging is provided on CAT jobs; contractor responsibilities include thorough, timely reporting via our mobile app.

Qualifications

• A clean and reliable vehicle suitable for transporting a 32‑foot ladder.
• Operational laptop and smartphone with ability to navigate multiple apps (data entry, reports, etc.).
• Willingness to travel, including during weather catastrophes.
• HAAG Certification within 90 days.
• State Issued Workers' Compensation coverage.
• Certificate of General Liability Insurance.
• LLC Articles or Certificate of Organization.
• 1099 independent contractor relationship.
• Hotel expenses paid/reimbursed on CAT jobs.
• Ability to use a 40‑foot ladder.

Responsibilities

• Inspect steep and high roofs as required.
• Lift, carry, and set up ladders and equipment up to 100 pounds.
• Sketch and measure roof and room components.
• Scope areas of different roofs, rooms, and inspection zones.
• Perform accurate, impartial inspections and identify age/condition.
• Travel to disaster-affected areas; assignments 2–6 weeks; lodging provided.
• Complete all aspects of job assignments on short notice.
• Document inspections using proprietary software on a smartphone.
• Cover a 100-mile radius around home market; maintain flexibility.
• Utilize 3D cameras, drones, moisture meters as needed.
