Job summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking a capable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for enterprise clients in Orlando. This contract-based, on-demand role involves responding to service requests and delivering hands-on assistance for desktop systems, laptops, networks, and peripherals at the client location.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting Windows desktops, configuring hardware, maintaining software, and ensuring compliance with client IT policies. Immediate start expected.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environments.
• Experience in hardware troubleshooting and replacement.
• Basic understanding of networking (LAN connectivity, switches, routers).
• Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in onsite support environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
• Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
• Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
• Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
• Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.
