Job summary

Monmouth University is seeking applications for a full-time 1st Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach in the Athletics Department. This is an in-person, on-campus position that will assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the program, including on-field instruction, recruiting, travel planning, camps, and compliance coordination.

The role requires collaboration with players, coaches, and administrators to support academic and athletic excellence, and it will include evening and weekend duties during

Qualifications

• CPR and NCAA recruiting certification must be attained within six months from date of hire.
• 4 years of college lacrosse playing/coaching experience or an equivalent combination.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
• Must have an understanding of the University’s concern for academics as well as athletic excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach in all areas of coaching including planning and implementing practices, recruiting, team travel, alumni affairs, equipment purchasing, program planning, daily operations.
