Job summary

Middlebury College in Vermont seeks a full-time, benefits-eligible recruiting support professional to partner with HR and hiring managers. This role will manage the recruiting lifecycle, source candidates, and administer the Workable ATS, while coordinating onboarding and high-volume hiring activities.

The position emphasizes customer-friendly communication, data accuracy, and process improvement across the talent acquisition function on campus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to project a warm, welcoming, competent image to customers.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with confidentiality.
• Two+ years of experience sourcing and candidate assessment; social recruiting on LinkedIn/Indeed.
• Experience with Oracle HCM and Applicant Tracking Systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HR Partners, hiring managers, and applicants throughout the recruiting process.
• Source candidates through passive and active strategies and evaluate effectiveness.
• Administer the Applicant Tracking System (Workable) including postings, communications, and access management.
• Manage advertising campaigns, expenses, and invoicing.
• Conduct reference and background checks and pre-employment screening.
