Southern Methodist University seeks a Scholarship Advisor on campus to counsel students and families on financial aid, scholarships, and billing. The role administers, coordinates, and reconciles scholarship awards, including external awards totaling millions in aid each year.

You will work with the SMU community to support enrollment goals, ensure policy compliance, and provide timely award processing, including veteran education benefits and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of work experience.
• Experience in student financial services preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.

Responsabilités

• Counsel students and families on financial aid options.
• Administer and reconcile scholarship awards, including external scholarships.
• Contribute to policy, procedures, and enrollment goals.
• Prepare financial plans to make SMU affordable.
• Handle monthly Veteran Affairs awards reconciliation.
