Job summary

BYU is seeking a Recruiting Operations Manager within the Marriott School of Business to oversee daily recruiting operations, coordinate campus events, and manage student programs. You will be a key contact for employers, students, and university partners.

You will hire, train, supervise student staff, monitor event budgets, and ensure policy compliance while using Handshake, Qualtrics, and Zoho to collect data and generate reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 5 years of experience in business operations or higher education administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate with multiple university groups.
• Experience coordinating large-scale recruiting events and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-campus recruiting operations for 250+ companies annually.
• Serve as primary point of contact for employer recruiters, assisting with postings, information sessions, interview schedules, and Handshake use.
• Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and communication for BYU Marriott career fairs, on-campus interviews, and other events.
• Collaborate with staff, program directors, and university partners to support employer engagement and recruiting activities.
• Hire, train, supervise and evaluate student employees; oversee training and Boot Camp for student staff.
• Monitor event budgets and expenditures within established guidelines; manage staffing resources.
• Support the BYU Marriott Student Leader Advisory Council (SLAC) including Executive Council participation.
• Collect and maintain recruiting data using Handshake, Qualtrics, and Zoho; prepare performance reports.
