Job summary

Grand Canyon University Inc. in Phoenix, AZ seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach the Spring 2027 course Electro-Mechanical Systems and Controls & Lab on campus.

The ideal candidate holds a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or a Master’s in Mechanical or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering with electromechanical experience, and will facilitate lectures, engage students, assess performance, and mentor success while upholding the University’s mission.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering
• Minimum: Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering and electromechanical experience

Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
• Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
• Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
