Job summary

Northeast Community College seeks a full-time Nursing Instructor for on-campus, in-person instruction. The instructor will deliver courses across classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings, while fostering student learning and success under supervision.

The successful candidate will have a master’s degree in nursing and at least 3 years of RN experience (5+ preferred) with teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates expertise in nursing practice while facilitating learning, supervising and evaluating student performance.
• Ability to plan, implement and sponsor activities to supplement instruction per standards and instructional design.
• Assist in selecting textbooks, updating curricula, completing reports (including accreditation), tracking assessment data, and contributing to program review and planning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction on campus and in person.
• Provide academic advisement and maintain requisite office hours.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure quality instruction for diverse student populations.
• Supervise and evaluate student performance in clinical settings and assignments.
• Contribute to curriculum development, program assessment, and planning with college leadership.
• Prepare and deliver instructional materials and participate in professional development activities.
