Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a part-time RN Instructor to teach clinical nursing courses in person at campus and off-site clinicals. Daytime hours Monday through Friday, 2–3 days per week, with month-to-month scheduling, and comprehensive training provided.

You will review lesson plans, grade assignments, support externships, maintain accurate records in Campus Vue/Brightspace, and contribute to an engaging student experience in a small-class setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved registered nursing education program, BSN or higher.
• Experience with precepting preferred.
• Two or more years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
• Current, valid licensure as a registered nurse in Michigan.
• Daytime availability and ability to teach at campus and off-site clinicals.
• Ability to communicate effectively in classroom and individual settings.
• Knowledge of Ross curriculum and ability to use Ross materials.
• Sufficient ability to move around the building and classroom to support student needs.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in the Ross curriculum and review lesson plans.
• Prepare for class instruction, grade and record assignments electronically.
• Actively promote student retention and support externship activities.
• Perform related duties such as maintaining student records in campus management software.
