Volunteer State Community College invites applications for an Instructor of Mathematics for a 9/10 Month Term. The role delivers quality mathematics instruction across formats, participates in student assessment, and contributes to program review and college service.

Expect evening/weekend teaching and a commitment to lifelong learning. The position requires a Master's degree in the discipline or a Master’s with 18 graduate hours, and collegiate teaching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Master's degree in the teaching discipline or a Master’s plus 18 graduate hours.
Experience delivering instruction in multiple formats (online, on-campus, hybrid).
Ability to use a learning management system and maintain accurate records.
Strong commitment to student success and service to the college community.

Responsibilities

Deliver quality instruction in multiple formats and assess student learning.
Teach 15 credit hours per term with additional office hours.
Contribute to program evaluation, curriculum development, and accreditation efforts.
Engage in service activities, advisement, recruitment, and professional development.
