Job summary

Tailwind Group is seeking a part-time Community Assistant for College Town Mankato, MN. You will engage with students, conduct tours, and drive leasing by building relationships on and off campus. The role emphasizes strong customer service, organization, and reliable presence in the office and model spaces.

The position requires rotating nights/weekends, a 12‑hour minimum weekly commitment, and the ability to support turnover periods with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Customer service or sales experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current university enrollment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent customer service with residents, prospects, vendors, officials, and community members.
• Maintain curb appeal and property spaces; ensure tour path and model unit are presentable.
• Serve as first contact for prospective residents; conduct tours and present leasing options.
• Maintain follow-up with prospects via phone, text, and email to maximize conversions.
• Drive leasing through on-campus outreach and peer networking.
• Support resident events, move-ins, and turnover activities.
• Open/close office and model unit; work nights and weekends during turnover.
